The Process

It starts with your idea

It starts with your idea

It starts with your idea

Have you ever had an idea for a piece of woven fabric that you've wanted to make into a reality? A special memory that you want to keep forever in a tangible way?

Translated into thread

It starts with your idea

It starts with your idea

In this individualized class, your idea is translated into a warp concept you love, expertly measured, wound and threaded onto a 4 or 8 shaft floor loom, a 4 shaft table loom, or even a rigid heddle loom.

The prepared loom is then ready for you to sit down and weave! Beth will guide you through the weaving process step by step. She will be there to answer questions and help solve any issues that may arise.

About Weave me a Story Classes

Classes are designed especially for you

Have you ever wanted to try out weaving but don’t want to invest in a loom yet?  Have you ever wanted to weave a legacy fabric for a project but don’t know where to start? Beth Guynes is the weaver behind the company Whisper Wovens and teaches classes in her home. She would love to help you turn the warp of your dreams into a reality.

Experience hands-on learning

Learning to weave is fun and rewarding! Some students want to learn the full process from start to finish. Others prefer to just sit down and weave a piece of cloth for a specific project on a loom that's already been warped and set up. Classes are arranged on an individual basis so that you end your class time meeting your goals, whatever those may be.

Finish with a final project you can use

You decide what your end product will be. Whether it’s a baby wrap, kitchen towels, a wedding present, a baby gift, or household decor, together we will create a design, colors, and a warp style all with your end project in mind.
